The domain of an All-Conquering Overlord should undoubtedly be a place of intimidation and awe. Something bleak, something frightening, something imposing. A place where you can hear the cries of his enemies on the wind and the praises of his loyal followers echoing off of every wall. Well, that's not really what Hadris' realm is like at all! It's actually pretty nice. Located in a personally-created Reality with public connections to almost every other Reality in Entirety - even Realities unconquered by Hadris - Hadris' realm has become not just a place for his followers to live and work, but also a popular tourist destination. His realm expands every day, and even beings who have lived there all of their lives aren't sure how large it is. Fortunately for those who love exploring there are plenty of transportation and teleportation methods to get to areas of your choosing in a snap, all free of charge! There are plenty of maps around as well, and even if you do get lost the populace is generally friendly enough that you'll always get to where you're going! It's bright, colorful, clean, and lively; not very intimidating, but definitely still awe-inspiring! Whether you've come here of your own will or via one of Meridian's many inconveniently-placed and spontaneously-appearing inter-dimensional portals, you'll probably end up in the entrance lobby. It almost seems like some sort of mall: maps everywhere, booths and shops lining the halls that extended in all directions, there's a big ol' fountain in the middle... ...And a pair of rather young and rather human-looking people at a little booth that said "free tours" in big, glittery letters. It seems a bit makeshift, like it's not exactly formally sponsored. "Free tours! Get your free tours here!" the brown-haired girl at the booth yells out enthusiastically, waving her hands. The orange-haired boy next to her simply sat there contently, looking about as friendly and welcoming as physically possible. So, what'll you do? Want to get a free tour? Want to just amble around? Want to go check out that Chiro's Pizza or Steel Donut place? Have a date or an appointment with someone here? It's a pretty big place, so go on and do whatever! {{ This thread is a big ol' hub thread that'll likely have lots of different things going on in lots of different locations! You're welcome to use as many characters as you'd like and have them go wherever the heck; SYOL has a lot of characters, so you'll find entertainment somewhere or another! }}

"Free tours? Hey, that's exactly the kind of thing I've been looking for! ya know, places like this are harder to navigate than the brochures make it seem. Sign me up!"
A man in a bright, stereotypical tourist shirt and sunglasses stepped up to the booth, past the two individuals and tiny dog. As if to reinforce his point, the man held up what looked like some sort of messily-folded map and gave an exaggerated shrug before putting on a sheepish grin.

" ... Ah!" As Solana emerged from a portal -- safely, to her surprise; she was still somewhat new to inter-reality travel after all -- she was taken aback by not only by how welcoming the lobby felt, but the sheer vastness of it... it was amazing! So many stores, so many maps! She could get lost in a place like this for hours... and then find her way back! Evidently, Solana had never been in a shopping mall before. But! Indulging in the wonders of space consumerism was secondary! Solana was here to visit someone...! Well, maybe she could indulge a little. This reality was a big place, and she'd be foolish to try and traverse it herself while she waited. Noting the, erm, particular tour booth near the fountain, she sauntered on over to kill some time. " Hmmmm, sure, I'll take a tour," she said to the two occupying the... station. Of sorts. She'd likely bail as soon as her person of interest showed up (or if they passed a particularly enticing bakery... maybe), but it seemed like it could be a fun distraction.

Orange and Aedi both perked up even further at all of the new arrivals, which seemed like something that shouldn't even be possible. The sheer amount of perk was astounding. It was an entire new level of perk. "Hi, Papes! Yeah, Lausac is here! I think he's at the Steel Donut right now, which isn't far from here! It's just a little off the left from the food court up ahead if you want to go ahead!" Orange informed Papes and her friends. Aedi, meanwhile, focused on the less familiar strangers, though something did seem sort of familiar about Solana... "Awesome! Tours are the best place to get to know a place, in my humble opinion, and even better when you get to make friends like us along the way!" Aedi proclaimed, proudly puffing out her chest. She marched out from behind the booth to reveal that she was decked out in way too many stickers and buttons. "Okay, first off, you can get all of these SICK DOODADS at the souvenir shop at the end of the tour!! And they have even SICKER DOODADS there too!! This is just a preview of the SICK DOODADERY that awaits you, my friends!!" she cheerfully announced. Orange followed suit, and though he also had some SICK DOODADS it wasn't quite to the overwhelmingly enthusiastic extent of Aedi's SICK DOODADERY. "Right this way, everyone!" Orange instructed, walking past the group. "First of all, welcome to the realm of All-Conquering Overlord Hadris Torant! This Reality serves as a hub to all of the worlds he's conquered, allowing residents of one Reality to intermingle with their new allies through a number of portals! It's a symbol of the strong bonds between us all, and that united friendship is what makes Hadris' empire so strong!" he began as they progressed through the realm. "If anyone has any questions about anything, feel free to ask us! We've both lived here for years and have been doing this job for a while, so we know the place and all of the people in it very well!" Aedi continued where Orange left off, "First we'll be passing through the Alpha Ring Garden - a ring-shaped garden that surrounds the food court closest to the entrance! It's a popular place for picnics and afternoon tea parties! Then we'll probably stop by the food court, and then what... there's the big ol' central tree, the living spaces, the workplaces, the shopping center, the waterpark, the movie theater, all of the cool magicky and sciencey places, we gotta find some of the Representatives... oh man, there's so much to check out!""A-Aedi, let's try not to sound lost..."

The man nodded in response to each of the talking points presented by Orange, refraining from interrupting their procession with any questions. Once Solana joined the tour proceedings, he offered a friendly grin and wave, though he seemed a little too concentrated on the their tour guides' descriptions to hold any sort of meaningful conversations.
"Oh, Representatives? If you don't mind me asking, what exactly are those?"
Well, at least until a topic of apparent interest was brought up.

" The Representatives are some of the All-Conquering Overlord's closest allies, yes?" Solana asked, unsure if she should refer to Hadris by name. She'd only just arrived, after all. She only knew as much about Hadris and his allies as the person she had come to visit -- a Representative herself -- had told her, but she was eager to learn more about the realm of one of the most powerful and imposing (yet surprisingly welcoming, if the realm and its apparent staff were anything to go by) beings she'd heard of since leaving her own relatively secluded reality. The tour guides did seem somewhat familiar to her, though... She didn't want to jump to any conclusions, however -- she was bad enough at introductions to begin with.

|| - The Steel Donut - || Papes and co. would be able to find the Steel Donut no problem. It stood out quite a bit, after all, what with the spikes and the fire and the intimidating metal music blaring from inside. And the giant sign made entirely from steel. That also helped. Inside Lausac was sitting at a stool in front of the bar that extended off from the cashier's counter and glass cases, in the middle of a arm-wrestling match with the store's owner, Seiten. He was momentarily distracted by the arrival of Papes, Bug, and Lazul, allowing Seiten to relentlessly claim his victory. "Ha!"Lausac replied by punching Seiten in the face with his own fist before returning his attention to Papes. "Uhh... hey." he greeted with a light wave, trying not to make his embarrassment (for more than one reason) too apparent. "What're you doing here? And who the hell is that?" he asked, raising an eyebrow at Lazul.
|| - Alpha Ring Garden - || "She's exactly right!" exclaimed Aedi after Solana relayed her answer, nodding proudly as though she had been the one to answer. "The Representatives are basically Hadris' top BFFs! They're his top advisors and get sent out on all sorts of secret missions. You can buy all sorts of sick merch of them in the gift shop! You guys have no idea how much LeFleuris stuff I have...""They, um," Orange interrupted, straightening his tie, "They're called 'the Representatives' because they also serve as examples of each of the 12 elements present in Hadris' realm!""But before we get to that... behold! The Alpha Ring Garden!"The group approached a short bridge over a narrow river of impossibly clear water - so clear that you could see the unearthly flowers that bloomed at its bottom. Aedi grabbed Orange by the hand and ran over to the other side of the river before releasing him so that they could flank each side of the bridge and perform jazz hands toward the grand spectacle that awaited them!! As they crossed the bridge, the tour group would find themselves in a massive garden beneath a skylight so expansive that it looked as though they were really outside. Trees stretched up to the imaginary sky, vibrant bushes lined every path, and the blanket of flowers spread before them was impossibly diverse and colorful. It seemed like there was one of every flower in Entirety in every color all crammed into this single space, all impeccably and expertly arranged. "Pretty awesome, right? The gardens here have flowers from all the different Realities Hadris has conquered! And they were all specially-arranged by... whoa! They're here!"Aedi grabbed Orange again and raced across another short bridge that was only a few steps away, stopping in front of a pair that stood at the edge of the bridge. "H-Here they are! Representatives, right in the flesh!" Aedi huffed, catching her breath. "This is Venith, and this is LeFleuris!"She gestured to them each in turn. Both of them were tall, elegantly-postured, and agonizingly gorgeous. You could practically see the sparkles around them. Dangerous! LeFleuris was on the right, holding a clipboard. He was very formally dressed, especially for a place as warm as the garden. Still, he blended in well, though maybe that was because of the flowers that bloomed in his strangely grass-like hair. Venith was on the left, also holding a clipboard. She was a woman with several deer-like features, from a pair of antlers to an adorable little tail. She was far more casually dressed than her associate, wearing a white sundress that seemed more at home in a garden than LeFleuris' outfit. "Y-Yes! Venith Tobette is the Ndaln Representative, and LeFleuris de Floraize is the Minoav Representative! They were part of the team that helped plan, organize, and plant the Ring Gardens! Before their contribution, this area was just a wide, ordinary hall with little to do... but Hadris wanted to make his realm a more desirable and healthy place to live! The Ring Garden team suggested adding more natural areas to enhance the beauty and walkability of the realm, as well as to celebrate the flora of the many worlds Hadris has conquered!" Orange explained, trying to shift the subject to distract from the fact that their elements were currently meaningless sounds to the tourists. "Oh? You two are leading another tour group, I see," LeFleuris commented, looking amused with the group of colorful characters before him. "You betcha! Gotta spread the knowledge!" Aedi affirmed, placing her hands on her hips. "How generous of you! Well, don't mind us. Just making sure everything here is as it should be," he smiled, words addressed toward Orange and Aedi but eyes scanning the tourists thoroughly. Venith was quickly distracted by Solana's presence, which elicited an award-winning smile from her. "Ah, Solana! I hope I haven't kept you waiting for too long, darling. Just finishing things up here. I see you've met Orange and Aedi, though! I hope they've been treating you well." she spoke, the slightest traces of a dainty giggle sneaking through. Aedi turned around to face Solana, expression morphed into an impressive face. "No way! Are you the super duper cutie pie who's been dating Venith that I keep hearing about?! Snuck right up on us, like an adorable ninja...""ANYWAY," Orange coughed, hoping to avoid any further embarrassment on Solana's part and desiring to keep the tour on track, "I-If you have any further questions about the Representatives or the Ring Gardens at all, please feel free to ask! We have two Representatives before us, and they're often open to answering questions!""Actually," LeFleuris interrupted, "Why don't you go ahead, Venith?"He lightly touched a hand to his chest, "I'm certain I can handle whatever this tour throws at me alone, hmm? And that aside, we're really quite close to being finished here.""How kind of you, LeFleuris! Remind me to repay you later," Venith accepted, handing her clipboard over to LeFleuris perhaps a bit too quickly. "Oh, it's no trouble at all. I'm sure you would do the same for me," LeFleuris assured her. "Well then? Did you have anything else to ask your wonderful tour guides, or shall we depart?" Venith asked Solana, hands politely folded in front of her.
|| - Representative Meeting Room - || Meanwhile, Loligo and Violet would materialize in what appeared to be some sort of meeting room. They have an app for everything these days! "Welp, here we are. Realm of Hadris Torant, very impressive, blah blah blah," Loligo... uh, introduced. I guess. "Yo, Chiro! Where's Drew at?" she called out over at the room's lone other occupant: a white-haired person in some kind of tokusatsu get-up at the opposite end of the round table before them, staring at a drinking bird dip into an empty glass with utter fascination. "Oho! You're back earlier than usual, Goldie! By about two entire seconds!" they remarked, attention fully drawn toward Loligo and Violet. "Yeah, yeah. The question, Chiro," Loligo sighed, crossing her arms. "Hmm. Well, if I had to guess, Drew's in another Reality at the moment! Yes, still dealing with this messy affair... I'd estimate he'll be back in another post or two, most definitely in the hospital wing if so! Either that or he's signing on with some sort of lizard to form Entirety's greatest boy band with our latest purple companion. Who can say for sure?" Chiro answered with an exaggerated one-armed shrug. "...That's Chiro for 'hope you can see blood without passing out, 'cause that overlord guy you wanted to talk to is probably gonna be covered in it.' 'Course I miss the first interesting mission in weeks... anyway, sounds like you've got a shitton of geopolitics to deal with, Vi."Reassuring!

The touristy man continued to nod eagerly as he took in what his tour guides relayed, especially once the Representatives were introduced. He was sure to put on a wry smile when Lefleuris gave him a look over, but otherwise refrained from interrupting any of the reunions going on, instead opting to gaze out over the vast expanse of flora until they finished speaking.
"Just how many realities has Hadris conquered, exactly? One might think that after so much conquest, you might start to draw attention from unsavory sources."
---
Violet took a quick glance around the meeting room upon arrival, taking note of the room's previously-lone occupant with a muted look of concern. The mention of excessive amounts of blood didn't seem to help any, either. Loligo likely wouldn't have noticed her expression, but Chiro most definitely would have spotted it-- and known the reason behind it, as well. Not that it would be any surprise to them, of course.
"It certainly sounds like that will be the case. Inter-reality geopolitics has never been my favorite thing, but a level head can make all the difference in a delicate situation such as this. Speaking of, I should probably make an attempt to look the part of someone ready to speak on behalf of their entire reality. Just one moment, please."
After taking a few steps out from Loligo, Violet raised a hand to the air and snapped her fingers before being engulfed in a torrent of white light. The effect would only linger for just a moment before fading away, starting from the tip of her extended hand downward across the rest of her body, revealing an entirely different - and much more exquisite - outfit than the casual robes from before. In addition, the faint aura of rather-odd power Violet had been radiating since Loligo met her had aplified somewhat; enough to be plainly tangible, but not excessive by any means.
"Sorry about that. Work clothes didn't seem like the fitting choice for meeting a conqueror of numberless realities and all."

Solana Virelai was somewhat of a celebrity in her own reality for her role in the downfall of an oppressive regime, the unification of a splintered nation of humans into the beginnings of a new whole, and the end of a long and pointless war against an enemy that wanted no part in it. Her allies would often call her tactical, headstrong, and unyielding; her enemies regarding her as a beast from the deepest depths of hell with the power to incinerate someone with a single glance (which was most definitely an exaggeration! such powerful spells take a lot of energy and preparation). Her noble upbringing taught her to carefully craft an image appropriate for one of her status, and indeed she did, so she managed to take such praise (or fear) in stride, retaining her poise even in the face of such fervent admiration when she visited home. Although her homeland turned out to be a rather obscure place in the grand scheme of Entirety and her status as irrelevant as the world she hailed from, she nonetheless tried to carry herself with the same strength and grace wherever she went. But NEVER in ALL OF HER YEARS had she been called "darling" and "super duper cutie pie", especially not in such quick succession! It was too much for her poor heart (or rather, the part of her soul that could be called her heart) to take! Especially in front of strangers! How embarrassing that her first impression to these people would be her blushing and stuttering because her girlfriend said a word, and her girlfriend's... accomplice! Her face growing redder by the second, she lowered her gaze in half-hearted shame (she had a nonexistent-outside-of-her-own-reality image to keep up, after all) and timidly split off from the group to approach Venith. " Y-yes! N-no! I mean--" She took a deep breath and somewhat regained her composure, her face still comparable to some of the red flowers in the garden. " Your friends seem lovely, we'll have to catch up with them later!" Hesitant to leave so rudely, she turned back towards Orange and Aedi and gave a slight bow. " Thank you for the tour, hopefully we'll have time to be properly acquainted soon," she said as she tried to hide her flustered expression. " Well," she squeaked quietly as she returned her attention to Venith, " let's get going then...!" She timidly wrapped her arms around one of Venith's and -- despite the fact that the garden was gorgeous and she was eager to learn more about it -- hoped that she would mercifully take her somewhere else. Immediately.

|| - The Steel Donut - || "Huh."Lausac's expression twisted into the kind of grin that meant nothing but trouble. He approached Lazul and swung an arm around him, holding his spare hand out for a handshake. "Put 'er there, buddy. Five seconds with me and you'll forget all about sleep. Lookin' forward to seeing how many of your buttons I can push," he greeted. Well... at least he's honest. "Are you guys actually gonna buy any donuts or what?" Seiten muttered, transitioning from rubbing his face to warily watching Bug.
|| - Alpha Ring Garden - || Orange and Aedi waved after Solana and Venith as they departed. "Check ya later, you big cutes!" Aedi called out before returning her attention to the remaining tourist. LeFleuris took the initiative in responding to his question. "Oh, quite a few. So many that I earnestly believe he's lost count. Must be millions by now, given how long he's been alive," LeFleuris began, brushing away the significance of his estimate with a wave of his hand. "You are right, of course. Though my lord is renowned for his fairness and generosity, conquest is an art seldom met with unanimity. He's faced all sorts of resistance, but in the end they're of little threat to someone who possesses such power and numbers.""Well that wording is a little... B-But, yes! Anyone who accepts Hadris' aid in managing their Reality can expect to be safe! Hadris is very serious about the well-being of his people, and is sure to keep a close eye on anyone who poses a threat to them! An overlord of course has plenty of foes, but Hadris has shown an ability to handle them with ease time and time again!" Orange interjected. LeFleuris gazed over at Orange has he spoke, waiting until a moment after he finished to return his attention to the quest. It was a languid motion, one that ended with a hand at his chin. "I do hope that wasn't a hint toward your intent... bear in mind that Hadris has little patience for those who stir up trouble in his kingdom, much less his own personal realm," he said, still effortlessly maintaining his smile. "Please be sure to remain on your best behavior. It would be an awful shame if you had to miss out on the rest of the tour.""LeFleuris, I love you, but you're really bad at this whole tour guide thing..."
|| - Alpha Ring Garden, but with more furry lesbians - || Venith led Solana a bit further into the garden and then off to the side, her peaceful expression suggesting she was ambling along but her confident stride indicating she had a goal in sight. She allowed a silence to form, but only briefly: not long enough to be awkward, but just enough time to allow the tilt of Venith's head to be the only thing available to focus on. "So, Solana," she began, voice warm and smooth, "Did you have fun? I've known Aedi and Orange to be quite the presenters!"She brought her free hand to her lips as she giggled, lightly and delicately. "I hope you'll enjoy my tour as well. There are so many things I can't wait to show you... such as this lovely little cafe that's coming up soon. There's seating on a balcony that overlooks the garden, and all of the food is crafted with such attention to detail... it's almost like being in a fairytale! I'm certain you'll like it."
|| - Representative Meeting Room - || "I'm pretty used to chicks changing in front of me, so whatever. Eh, doubt he'd care much. The guy wears a smiley-face tie all the time and wears jeans pretty much whenever. But you do you," Loligo shrugged. "Wouldn't worry too much. Drew's not the kind of guy who'll off you for talking to him wrong. Can't claim to know all the details about what's going on here, but I'm sure you'll be fine," she assured Violet before turning around and opening the door. "Hospital wing is pretty close by. Follow me."As Loligo exited the room, Chiro waved after her and Violet. "See you around, dear friends! Whether you see me or not! Perhaps sooner than you think!"ominous
In the hospital wing, a large circle filled with runes appeared on the ground. Herelia materialized from it alongside the injured and returned to await Hadris and company's arrival, while medical aides clustered around the circle to provide assistance. Septicemia appeared with Missingno and Luca in tow, and Flann appeared shortly thereafter. Septicemia and Flann quickly moved out of the way and into a lobby, bringing Missingno and Luca with. "Wowzers! That was a BLAST, am I right folks?" Septicemia joked, looking entirely too proud of herself for that pun. "Well, anywhoozits, guess we better figure out what to do with you folks, huh? Drew probably doesn't wanna throw you in the dungeons, so that's out..."Before she could continue that worrisome train of thought, Loligo arrived with Violet presumably trailing not too far behind. "Huh. Looks like they were right." she mused, raising a brow at Missingno and Luca's existence. She shrugged it off, though, seeing as she had more important matters to worry about. "L-Loligo? What are you doing here?" Flann asked, worried that more bad news was forthcoming. "Got some chick here who needs to talk to Hadris. He here?""U-Um... no, not yet, but he should be here any minute..."Loligo looked back over at Violet, "Better be ready, then."

"What's up, my dude.""haaaah? .....oh. Nothing. Your friend's kinda cute that's all." It took him a total of five entire seconds for Lazul to process what he'd just said. Ooooooooooooooooooohhhhh shit. Esme, suddenly taking on a similar troublemaking grin, tried to hold back her laughter. "And in that moment, Lazul knew: HE FUCKED UP."[/b] "OH MY GOD. NO, WAIT,""TOO LATE, YOU CAN'T TAKE THAT BACK."
Septicemia's train of thought..............was concerning. At least to both of them. Missingno wound up feeling something similar to how nausea would be described when dungeons were mentioned; whether he'd experienced imprisonment before, no one would have been able to tell. Meanwhile, Luca was internally screaming. Naturally, that would've been brief because they got momentarily distracted by Loligo and Violet appearing. The glitch was secretly relieved the subject was quickly changed, honestly.
High quality toast, folks

The bespectacled tourist managed to maintain his wry grin throughout LeFleuris's explanation, even when the topic of troublemaking was brought up. It did waver for the briefest of moments, however, when the bulk of Hadris' forces and the injured teleported back into the reality, though it would be imperceptible to anyone not intently focused on him.
"Oh, certainly not. A little ol' thing like me, up against the armies of a multidimensional overlord? Even if I were capable of such things, it sounds like a pretty terrible idea. Being stuck behind bars doesn't sound like my kind of shore leave, as wonderful of a place as this may be."
"Best I be prepared in situations like this. I've heard tell that your superior is... a bit outside what one would expect for a conqueror of realities, but such things are best taken at face value until one has had an opportunity to determine for themselves."
Violet glanced back towards Chiro as she followed Loligo into the hospital wing, attempting to maintain a fairly neutral-but-friendly expression in spite of the fact that Chiro knew that she knew that Chiro knew far more about the situation than they let on to. Which Chiro also knew, of course. Once they had arrived at their destination, Violet did her best to concentrate on those who weren't covered head-to-toe in blood and shrapnel, particularly the presumably still blood-soaked mess that was Flann. Apparently, despite 250 years and loads of experience in battle, she never quite got over that aversion to blood.
"Oh, gods... is this really all that's left of the Capital Defense personnel? I'm no expert on the subject or anything, but from what I can tell, their commander and one of two lieutenant commanders aren't present among the wounded here. This is worse than I had imagined..."
